The Stockwell Exchange
SPONSORED BY THE CSA PARENT COUNCIL
The Beluga Ball is an annual fundraising event featuring dining, dancing, and entertainment. Both live and silent auctions during the course of the evening add to the excitement. The Beluga Ball has been the premier event at CSA every year since its inception in 1998. Each year it has raised more money than all the other annual fundraisers combined. It is an enchanting evening open to all parents, teachers and staff. Tickets are on sale at THE STOCKWELL EXCHANGE. The funds go exclusively to Parent Council to be used where necessary.

BELUGA BALL COMMITTEE
The planning and execution of the Ball is an enormous undertaking. For this reason, the Beluga Ball Committee was formed. The members help by organizing efforts at coordinating the event, collecting donations, selling tickets and securing local sponsors. The Committee meets every month during the school year. For information on the event or to volunteer to help in it’s planning, please contact the Parent Council.

CASH COWS
Cash Cows are community fundraising programs that earn money specifically for local schools. All proceeds from these “Cash Cows” are paid directly to the CSA Parent Council, which in turn uses the money to fund various school programs. Take a look at some of the community merchants that provide either reward or fundraising programs.
SCRIP
SCRIP is one of CSA’s biggest “Cash Cows”. It helps to raise hundreds of dollars for school activities each month! The monies generated by the SCRIP Program are instrumental in funding the various projects undertaken by the Parent Council. SCRIP is fundraising while you shop!tm. That’s right, you can raise money for CSA by shopping at your favorite market, filling up at the corner station, or renting movies at the neighborhood video store. The best part about SCRIP is that it generates a donation out of the money you spend every week on necessities like food and fuel…money you’d be spending anyway…and it doesn’t cost you anything extra to participate.
When you purchase a SCRIP card you receive the full face value on the card, which can be used to make purchases anytime throughout the year. For instance, if you buy a $25.00 Speedway card, you receive the full $25.00 in fuel or products. The retailer then pays a percentage of your purchase back to the school as a donation.
